Hosted by Autocar and technology giant Siemens, the webinar on 25 June will look at answering questions such as how manufacturers can upgrade cars post-purchase, unlocking the untapped potential already built into cars and more.
Siemens is a technology leader with a significant influence on the mobility sphere, and the firm's head of automotive, battery and mobility, Uday Senapati, will take part in the webinar alongside Rickard Arvidsson, head of architecture and strategy at Volvo Cars, and Oracle Red Bull Racing's head of CAD and PLM Daniel Watkins.
They'll be joined by Autocar deputy editor Felix Page for an insightful and interactive deep=dive into the world of automotive software.

He is also recognised for Advisory and Consultancy services with experience of setting up a successful business in this space.
Uday has successfully led the development of major luxury automotive brands through Strategy, Planning, Product Development, Organisational Design, Commercial Development and Global Operations. He has advised several successful ventures in the Technology, Digital, Automotive and New Mobility space.
Prior to joining Siemens, Uday was the Founder and Managing Partner at Luminary Advisory Partners. He held several corporate roles prior to his Advisory career, from being the Chief Strategy & Product Officer at Lotus Cars, Head of Mulliner business at Bentley Motors to several Technical roles at Jaguar Land Rover, General Motors, and Mahindra.
Uday combines a keen technical eye with strategic business acumen through his Technical and Business degrees: BEng(hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Pune University (India), MSc in Automotive Refinement from Southampton University (UK) and an Executive MBA from Manchester Business School (UK)
Rickard Arvidsson is a seasoned engineering leader at Volvo Cars, currently serving as Head of Product Strategy and Architecture on Software Engineering on Volvo Cars. With a deep expertise in sustainable transport technologies, Rickard plays a pivotal role in shaping Volvo's software-driven vehicle architecture and electrified powertrains.
Dan Watkins has led CAD and PLM at Oracle Red Bull Racing since 2013, playing a key role in shaping the team’s digital engineering infrastructure for car development. With a background spanning both automotive and aerospace, he brings deep expertise in Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and end-to-end lifecycle management — from initial design through to manufacturing — helping to drive innovation and performance at every stage.
